Description
its all of the characters from Lord of the Fliesfrom left to right, top: Roger (cruelty), Simon (kindness), Piggy (knowledge) and Samneric (insignificance)
the one with the red hair and spear is Jack (corruption), and the one with the blond hair to the right of him and with the conch is Ralph (morality). The Lord of the Flies is in the middle (Truth/evil). The silhoette in the background is the island, adn there are supposed to be evil eyes in front of it...the little dottish things everywhere are sposed to be flies. annnnd, im pretty sure thats about it.

I always viewed Samneric as symbolism for companionship. They always stuck together and stuck with Ralph for the majority of the book didn't they?

They were the epitome of loyalty. Their purpose was to show the corruption by human nature (as was the point of Simon and Piggy also).

Supporting Golding's view on corruption using their loyalty as the main focus.
Seeing as their loyalty to Ralph was broken.. But under force and human nature/corruption... But also how it wasn't completely broken...
