Personality traits:

Riley is a very silly and cheerful man. He absolutely loves to talk about anything and everything. In fact he loves talking so much that he often prefers to seek out quieter people just so he can take on more of the conversation. He tends to get very self absorbed and can get very touchy if he thinks someone isn't listening to him. His apparent naivety often disarms people and makes him seem like a bit of a dope. He's easily distracted and tends to make a joke out of most everything, including his own disabilities. Thats not to say he can't be serious. He takes his job, and his faction very seriously and won't joke around on a job if he can help it. He's also very skittish about people and things touching his face, it is probably one of the only things that really disturbs him.

He really loves chairs with spinning capabilities. He often forgets its not super socially acceptable to pop out one or both of his glass eyes if he gets bored.

Background:

Riley lived with his parents until he was about 13. They were quiet people who didn't want to alienate their son, but the prejudice and fear of his "infliction" as they saw it made interaction with him difficult for them. When he reached his teens they sent him away to a boarding school in Chromatica, hoping it would be easier on everyone. Riley turned out to be a very lively kid, for the first time kids his own age were talking to him. As he went to school there he learned about the different types of affects chromatism could have on people. Despite not having the type of abilities that were mostly used for being a doctor in this time and place, he became very interested in medical studies and decided to follow it as a career.

He got married at the age of 19 to a lovely girl he met while perusing his dreams of becoming a doctor. After 3 years when he was close to getting his medical degree he made the mistake of cheating on her, and in her rage and heartbreak she took both of his eyes out with a fork. He never pressed charges due to his guilt and he lost all hope of entering the medical profession. Without eyes or an ability there was really no way he could make it. Though he has a lot of interest in reclaiming his eyesight and continuing his studies.

After going through a year of physical and psychological therapy he found himself in debt and incredibly alone. He did the only thing he could think to do and sold his services to the mafia. He heard it was quick cash for abled persons with abilities. Despite his blindness his abilities allowed him to carry on quite well. He did grunt for years before his powers become more focused and he showed a lot of promise in gathering information without being caught.
He eventually became a very reliable part of the family, able to spy on other factions and gather information or even thieving certain objects efficiently. Though he would sometimes have to work with a partner on bigger cases to make up for his lack in sight. The combination of his offensive and more passive abilities also make him a near ideal assassin, though his interest in that kind of job was slim. He'd do it if asked.

Because of his background in the medical field he landed himself a job as a secretary at a small clinic. He doesn't take notes very well and ends up goofing off most of the day, but customers give such good compliments about most of the calls in that they haven't really seen much need to fire him yet.

After work he ventures out to bars alone or with anyone who would care to join him.

Powers:
-His main power is to morph most of his extremities (fingers toes elbows nose ect.) about 3-4 inches longer and to a point and harden them in place like knives. Although once he transforms them he cant bend or change their shape for up to 15 minutes making it an extremely close range ability considering his disability. Its good for quick assassinations but if he botches the job or misses he is in a world of danger. He also starts to lose blood flow to his fingers if he uses it to often and can cause some serious damage to his hands.

-His supporting power is a decent cloaking ability that he uses more often than his main one. It can shield his own presence for about an hour, if he holds it longer than that he will start getting headaches and eventually black out. He can also cloak one other person with him by touching and remaining contact with them but it reduces the time he can use it by half.
- Because his cloaking ability has to do with covering the space around him from view he can also sense the immediate space pretty well, allowing him to maneuver without a cane and get along just as well as a person with sight, but only in about a 3ft square area.

-His jokes are almost never funny
-He laughs a lot anyway
-He thinks rats are very cute and is against animal experimentation
-Isn't actually sure if he wants his vision back
-His blood type is O-
-If he's sent out on assassination missions he tries to coerce blood types out of targets in attempts to find himself new eyes. Because of his rare blood type and him only asking after striking a killing blow, this hasn't worked out
-He opted to wear two solid white glass eyes because he thought it would be "cool".
-The same reason he got a tattoo was a few years after the incident he though it would make him a little more "hardcore" and asked for something tribal and cool. The tattooist a bit of a jerk and baffled that a blind man would openly trust anyone to put ink on his body alone put a large eyeball going across his neck and down his shoulder and under it in latin it says "I trust too easily"
