Description
As promised, here is the picture forThe image is from her story, A Tailor and a Lawyer [link] which is a CHACK interpretation of a scene from A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens( Sydney Carton is contemplating his death with the young seamstress he meets minutes before facing the guillotine). If you haven't read the book, I suggest it. It's my favorite Dicken's novel, as I like the political struggle/intrigue and the historical backdrop of the French Revolution.
Anyway, since this is an emotional scene, it was good pratice trying to convey the subtle feelings and the bittersweetness of this story. I changed my style of drawing to a slightly more realistic one(Jack shows it better than Chase in this image).

Trust me, if I could rewrite Dickens, Sydney Carton and the seamstress would have escaped to freedom(Sydney was my favorite character).

Wow, this is beautiful! Thank you so much for doing this! I kinda tried to guess which story you might draw this for and the Tailor and a Lawyer one was what I finally decided you might end up doing. Personally, I think you did a great job with slight change of style for this particular pic. I love the expressions on their faces~ I love what you showed of their outfits! I was going to draw either an image for this story or A Quick Little Nothing. I really wanted to draw Chase and Jack in period clothing, so I went with this pic.

Oooh, now that would have been interesting! I never really pictured the characters clearly in my mind for Quick Little Nothing, I wonder how you would've interpreted it??? Hmmmm...Well, you picked a great fic for the period clothing, then, I absolutely love anything to do with French culture, so I'm glad you went with that one!
Keep up the good work, and good choice for the new ChackStar! I just visted the gallery and I love the Chase!! I think this system is definitely going to help spread the Chack. And now, I'm rambling, sorry!
