Taking my life as I run, is it really that much fun?Old pic finished in early July, but it took me until now to get up the will to re-size/watermark/post...<^__^;;; *So bad at posting things. xD;;* Aerial Hunting...yup. 3,: I have nothing against Hunting the right way, (as in getting down & dirty whilst chasing your Prey and working as damn hard as any other Predetor would to kill said Prey.) But sitting in a comfy, heated, safe Helicopter and shooting at the backs of running "Prey" is pretty damn lame/cowardly in my view. :\ Want to be a Hunter? Be a real Hunter and HUNT, don't play a watered down version of "skeet shoot" and then call yourself a SportsMAN, god damned wusses...*seethe* >( My opinon! 8D
Not much else to say, I suppose, except this was my first time drawing these things: "full body" Wolf, something running, much more something running and just shot, thus trying to make it look as if they've been very much affected by the blow, perspective thingeh, more "realistic" Snow, Helicopter, much more from a front-view and in "motion" XD. <---Woot~ I failed at all, obviously, but I triiiiied~ X) The Wolf's supposed to be young-ish, something like a Yearling~ So I went for a more "Cub-ish" look. :3 Looking at this so far down the line, I see some really bad mistakes, but I post for the same reason as always: It's been a damn long while since my last pic was put up and it's about TIME. xD; So yush, there we go. X)

the wolves are not endangered and population control is needed. just like up north, down in louisiana we use choppers to thin out hog populations. and im a hunter and trapper for coyote as well as deer, ducks, hog, squirrel, nutria, and raccoon.
yes i see where most see it as unethical but it is to better the chances for the rest of the population its not an extermination

What is necessary is necessary. Population control is needed and aerial hunting gets the job done. Considering such hunting typically uses higher caliber rounds, spare a thought that is usually kills quicker than a gun you'd use on foot

I find the hunting without the chance of your prey escaping cowardly. It's like being on the winning side of a fixed fight or something. You know you're going to win but there's no challenge. All those who hunt that way are cowards and nothing more than butchers.

Aerial hunting is for cowards. Even a child can call himself a `hunter` like that. It's not hunting. It's cowardly abuse.
They even aerial hunt bears! I am against hunting in general, but boy, do the normal hunters look like angels compares to those losers; aerial hunters. Well drawn by the way! Very well coloured, too. It gives a realistic image of cowardly sadistic aerial hunting.

You do realize this doesn't only apply to wolves? Besides, hunting from a moving plane seems much harder than sitting in one place and aiming from a few feet away.

It's a pretty jacked up movie and a classic. But it's only related when in the beginning the "Thing" transforms into a husky and is trying to escape from a helicopter with gunmen in it shooting at it and the Americans thinking it's only a Dog tries to save it.

I am not against wolf hunting from the ground, but hunting from a plane is cowardly and sadistic. It isnt right to take that long to kill an animal, especially in the dead of winter. Then, if they chose to take home their "prize"(which they dont half the time, they usually leave it there)then they pose with the bloody corpse all proud and smiling. A hunter should be proud of killing an animal from the ground, not from a plane, it isnt a fair chase at all.

I personally hate all forms of hunting. Taking an innocent animals life away for sport? its ridiculous. Only cowards hunt. And they cant call hunting a "sport" because in sport, both players know their in the game...the prey is unsuspecting. I think hunting would be a fine sport - if the prey had guns too. sorry, thats just how I feel

Well, for me, I think hunting is okay so long as it's for food. I mean, animals hunt, too, right? 8D But I don't think it's okay to use high-powered weapons or traps or anything. D: If someone's going to hunt, they should use, at most, a dagger (to represent the teeth/claws of other predetors, which still keeps it fair.) Because any other way is unfair in my view.
