YEEEEY~ FINAL OLD PICTOR! 8D AND FINAL PICTOR OF 2008! X,D I was forced to post this now or then I'd have to redo the watermark to show the proper year, lolwut. D: *LAZY* So, anyway, IDFK...:\ I was thinking of a friend of mine who lives in Phx, AZ when I drew this, to be honest~ XD So I think that's why the bird sorta looks like a Pheonix, though it wasn't meant to be~ :'D But yes, I also think my feeling about this friend inspired the pictor's theme, which is of having someone swoop in to grant me freedom and such, ie. that's why this is titled "Spirit Of Heaven" though it has no religious connotation, plz. 8D

And I'll let the public ponder all that on their own.

Anyways, the BG doesn't make sense on purpose. Iz STYALISTIC! And it's supposed to represent how the bird has the power to travel "between the heavens." :3 Re-looking at this, I think the pic could've been better if I'd have contrasted it a bit more. *likes super bold colorings* But at the time I wanted a "softer" pastel-ish look to it...I think I failed, but oh well. ALSO, PERSPECTIVE PRACTICE! ...I FAILED IT SO BAD. D: DOES THAT WING LOOK FURTHER AWAY AND THAT FOOT CLOSER OR DO THEY JUST LOOK FUXXING DEFORMED!?! X,D ...ehoehroehr IDFK. >>;

But anyway, yes~ Oh, and it was nice to get back to my lineless style of artz again for this, it's so much more fun and less stressful to work lineless for certain concepts. ^^ *had fun doing this*

...gah, I really need more perspective practice.
Anyways, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! 8DDD HOPE YOURS IS A GOOD ONE. ^^ And may your personal "Spirit Of Heaven" swoop down one day and rescue you~ 8D
