Amazing shot. You have the deepest photographies I've ever seen, so...unique. I love it, a definitive favorite. The colours, the image, it sums up to a grand image.

It was taken up on Hinchinbrook Island. The place had a really primordial feel to it, as if at any moment a dinosaur could have walked out from the rainforest and onto the beach and it would have been completely in place. I guess the crocs were the next best thing!

Once again, your comment is both appropriate and simply poetic. Its funny, the first thing I thought when I saw this photo was "Wow...those mountains have been there for so long..." before I even saw your comment. The capture is amazing and the balance of shades and color give the photo and location this warm feeling of safety, beautiful in its seclusion.

Thanks Solthiel - that's exactly how it was - a tropical island isolated from the rest of the world. It did have that feeling of being ancient.

wow i can see the wave comeing in on the bottom right, nice work with that, keeping it nice and imulated considering the lighting you gave it!!
