Description Yesterday was a hot and humid day with the weather promising a thunderstorm,

I rushed down to the beach, a bit too late, anticipating a thunderstorm at sea,

I was pleasantly surprised when nature did its magic and surprised with this spectacular sunset.

I had to hurry and do the best I could with the composition, there was only about 5 minutes to work with,

No filters, no colour correction, slight levels adjustment only..................................

Stunning, fabulous shot! Even more amazing that it is real. Not only the fabulous colors but the details and lights on the shore make this one special.

Wow! It's been hot and humid over this way too. Plenty of thunderstorms but no spectacular sunsets like that!

Thanks Pete,

Yes this was a pleasant surprise, it was not a planned shot though, saw the sky changing and had to pull over and setup quickly, so compo is not the greates, but what the hell, at least it "did not get away".

Great to hear you back in one piece from the land of the Devil,

Chat again,

ET

very nice!

what shutter-speed did you choose? must be quite long, since i can't see a clear reflection on the water.

I can check records but it was about 2 seconds at f11 (I think), the wind was blowing very strong though and even on the tripod I had to hang on to things,

Thank you for your interest..........................
