Description
Ahimsa, the young siberian tigress (panthera tigris altaica) from the zoo of duisburg, was having a nice nap when suddenly a zebra appeared in her sight. As it got as close as it was possible to get to the enclosure, she was on her paws in an instant, muscles tensed ready to strike. The one who accompanied the one who was disguised as a zebra got the fear that the tigress will leap out of the enclosure. They unfortunately moved away after Ahimsa decided to get closer.This is one of the last photos I could take of her, she moves now far away. It was always nice with this young adult tigress, there was always something new.

Superb. Wer hätte gedacht, dass Duisburg so schöne Einwohner hat. Scherz beseite, das Foto ist grandios. Kann halt nicht genug kriegen von Tigern.

Yes she is. It will be different the next time I visit that zoo, because this tiger was the main reason for my visits.

Naja, aber sie ist doch nicht so weit weg ... immerhin nicht ins Ausland gekommen (je nachdem, ob man Bayern schon als Ausland betrachtet). München ist doch auch immer mal wieder einen Besuch wert.
Muss glaube auch noch Photos von ihr hochladen, war auch oft in Duisburg ... muss ich mal sehen, ob die auf dem Laptop sind (meine externe Festplatte, auf der die Mehrzahl der Photos sind, liegt leider gerade noch in einem anderen unserer Häuser, nutze einen Teil davon sozusagen als Abstellkammer).
