Came back off my holidays to Zakynthos and felt very devoid of any creativity. Something was missing, that magic spark that gives me the desire to paint or draw. So I trawled Deviant Art looking for inspiration and I decided to speed paint and then refine this one in Photoshop. I don't know if anyone deals in creativity or inspiration but if you do, hit me up because I need a fix right now! My wife and son have just returned to work and school respectively, and I'm feeling the loneliness as I work from home......I miss them not being here......I guess this is inspired by that.......Related content

I dunno 'bout you, just for me, music, books, and television are all big parts of my inspiration. A certain lyric, character, or world aspect that catches my eye can become its own thing. For music, my fallback is a youtube channel by the name ofย MrEpicOSTs .

Hi, thank you. Yes, certainly music is the main inspiration for me.....FSOL, Orbital, NIN, Aphex Twin, various soundtracks etc....I find the visual image too limiting in that I tend to end up mimicking or copying without meaning to. I've been working to briefs and when you're directed in such a way you have no problems simply because you do as the client requests....but when it comes to personal work, I've been disinterested and have lacked motivation......all artists go through it!
