WHAT I HAVE TO SAY
Yay! It's about time I had updated this!
XD XD XDI love panels 3 and 5! Poor Tails! X_X
...Well I'm rather pleased with the page, it was actually a clean page when I scanned it! The cleaneest so far because I didn't make many mistakes on it! ^___^ The forth 'far shot' panel, the expression is portrayed, but the feel of an afternoon setting... It's not really there and I must focus more on expression with the use setting and background to give it that extra 'feel' to the situation... I wanted to give that 'mood' to the reader on panel 4 but I didn't really achieve it... ^_^;;; What do you think?
XD *giggles* ^_^A balance on character and BG expression maximises the emotions and feelings of a particular situation for those who are already working on mangas or fan-comics! ^_~
Hope you guys liked it and I especially hope I can bring a bang on the next page. XXX3 Check out the title.

As Tails dashes in a hurry towards the beach he hopes to come up with a good excuse to his friends for his late arrival. Tails is really having a hard time thinking about things he's been doing lately ever since he had those dreams and hopes in finding his parents...
As he arrive his destination all he can find is a consequence for his ignorance. Sonic & his friends are nowhere to be sighted... All he can see is an empty space... A broken sandcastle, a beach ball floating above the afternoon tide... What he can picture at this moment is a hole of disappointment...
Tails turned around and walked in shame and self-disappointment. He is pressured by the fact that he will bring an unpleasant feel to the crowd, something that may disturb them for his actions. He wants to ask for forgiveness the fact that he couldn't show punctuality to his friends...
Who knows what awaits of him at the end of the day? Find out on the next page!

You've made a double check which I'm appreciative of and most grateful to hear that you started to take your time reading the deviation and details such as Story Time sections of each page. ^_~ *thumbs up*Hey if you still envy the shading that I do maybe I can give you a tutorial on how to shade Sonic Team style Black and White?

1. Tails' calling Knux "uncle"?? Plz tell me he was sarcastic.
Nope, he wasn't at all.
From my POV that is! ^_~Yes it's Tails being unsarcastic about 'Uncle Knux!'! XD XD XD It's my nature to bring his character out and I want Tails to be that way... ^_^ You can actually intepret it the way you want Espen and still get the same effect in the end cuz in the next page he quickly referes his friends Knuckles 'Knux'. ^_^
2. As I've mentioned before, u sometimes use blur-effects when it's not needed. I believe panel 2 could've been much better with still-frame hands.
Yeah that's true Espen, I agree with you on that one but I was pretty much obsessed with speed lines when I was reading the Hajine Ippo series. XXX3 Book 14 had a similar style when two rivals slapped their hands together with speedlines to add effect. ^_^ I've seen many situations without the blur for welcoming like that! ^__^ I just wanted to add it in at that time that's all. ^_~ *chuckles*
3. Tails I can understand, but Knux with a neck looks IMO Really strange. Off course, IMO Chao are edible, but That's a differen't story.
This is something I don't agree... ^_^;;; I actually love to have Knux with the neck. ^_~ Only within this series of course~!! XD XD XD It's been 10 years after Sonic X/SA series. ^_^ I wanted to give the characters a slightly mature look than the usual. ^_~
4. I suspected something was odd since the last page and panel 3 showed me what. Why do u draw Knux "eyebrows" like they were horns? U'd think he was thinking sinister thoughts.. And Rouge ISN'T EVEN THERE! O.o
I made Knuckles' eye because I wanted to differentiate it from the official look of just the oval shaped perfect head/face in Sonic X. ^_^ Adding that 'bump' might give him an older look compared to when he was fresh and young (without the middle-aged wrinkles! XD XD XD). ^_^
Again this is going bak to that age issue and giving the characters a slightly more 'mature' look. ^_^
& 5: ..Knux said "Master EmeraldS"... as in more than one? O.o *gets shot for nitpicking over a stupid typo* X_x
No typo buddy. ^_~ The extra 's' gives the readers an element that soemthing had been happenning ever sincethose 10 years... ^_^ It's only a fantasy effect not put into practice for soemthing being official to the Sonic Universe. ^_^ I treat that as a novelty thing. ^_^
It's the same with KnuxXRouge giving birth to Swift. These are not real to the official, but they can be made real when fans of Tails Away accept it. ^_^
Tails won't be long in the Sonic Universe, he has a great role to play in True Skies Universe... ^_^ A much greater role... ^_^
Otherwise; backgrounds, effects and shading are topnotch... whatever that means. Just please check out point 4 ok? I'm sorry (if) I'm being a pain in the ass, but the percentages, man. Think about the percentages. o.o

You are GREAT at emotions. I can practically feel Tails' genuine disappointment. I think he feels that he let down everyone, and that he's not reliable.
But I would tell him to cheer up, because even though he was late, he'll be able to catch up with them some other time. I'm sure they won't be mad, and even if they're a little ticked off, they'll forgive him... right?

Definitively your usual style: good lines, cool backgrounds, awesome shading, great effects. And I had the impression that Tails did feel lonely in panel 4. So feel glad, cuz at least one person got that right!

This is beautifull darkspeeds! I love the 4th panel (lol biggest one.. its 4 right? n_n ' ) i dont know i can even hear the sound of the wave clashing on the beach. Its beautifully done. The way you shaded it made the mood sadder, but still kept everything just perfectly balanced. To put the castle partially broken shown the sea was going up and that it started to break it. the wind made it seem more lonely for Tails. When there is a party or a huge gathering at one place when everyone is gone, For the only person left, the place often feels windy and lonely.. Like if you could hear yourself breath and all.
