A tribute to one of the most coolest and meaningful characters introduced in the Sonic adventure series.A beautiful message from Chip 'Gaia of Light' leaves us wondering why friendships continue to remain so powerful and also how wonderful it is to continue to maintain them in our real lives.
For those who want to recap on the ending go here . Spoiler beware for those who haven't finished the game yet)
I love how they've portrayed it so well in the game and as well as in the ending. You'll notice an even deeper relevance to his message when Sonic and Tails meet up in the ending - it leaves fans of the oldschool dazing at the brilliant friendship that Sonic and Tails had since their first encounter.
To go even deeper in analysis from my point of view I've always seen Sonic as the Wind and to make things complete Chip represents Earth and Light. Sonic needs those elements to continue on his adventures.
It's an amazing relationship if you think about it in context. Sonic's endless 'travels' will remain a part of him forever always. *thumbs up*

That's an amazing concept, not to mention your art is completely beautiful. I haven't actually finished Sonic Unleashed, though...old-school Sonic and Tails? The game is suddenly twice as badass!

Awww, this just makes me miss Chip more. Sonic Unleashed was a lot of fun, and has so much playback value... in my opinion at least. I really loved the speed levels. SOOO much fun! Def one of fastest Sonic Games to date.

I loved Chip in Sonic Unleash, it was unexpected to see a fresh take on side characters in Sonic 'next-gen' console series. He was a character designed and created with purpose in the story. Brilliant.

I agree, they really did do a good job with Chip (even if he was a little fatty XD). I think the relationship with Chip and Sonic was nice too... I really liked a lot of the scenes between Were!Sonic and Chip.

It's funny, when I first saw the last scene, I was a little unsatisfied...probably because none of the standard sidekick characters got nearly as much attention as Chip (don't get me wrong, i liked the little guy from the start).
But looking at your work, any dissatisfaction immediately dissapears. The expressions are just right (delivers emotions without being cheesy), the apparation of Chip in the sky was appropriate...and the entire piece is just outstanding in quality.

Chip dies at the end and it is nice and meaningful. That's what I'm hearing from alot of people here.
(bolts for the light preparing himself to get ripped to shreds by everyone here) From what I've seen of him so far I was hoping for a death that was as meaningful as say Kenny dieing in south park. Playing dead there in front of everyone while they are trying to figure out whats wrong with the world being broken up, it dosn't make any sense.
Ah hell maybe he isn't annoying at the end I'll have to see huh? :/

At first, i hate him for taking Tails place.
Then, as the adventures goes on, i started to like this guy. He's funny, kindhearted, and his voice acting is really good.
And at the ending, im very sad at the fact that he will never ever accompany sonic again in the future, Since i really really like him at that time.
