Hi guys! I haven't done one of these sketch works for a long time! I'm getting faster at doing these, it took me around an hour or so to complete!

It's a preview for the third EASTERN KINGDOM CHALLENGE.

Here is background information on the beloved character from Ma family of the TGAF series ~ Fang-xin!

BACKGROUND INFO:

Fang-xin who is now matured to a beautiful and honest resident of Tian Xia Academy continues to help do chores around the temple to keep things neat and in order. She gets along with everyone including the monks and elders and has this irresistible charm of being humble to anyone she approaches.

Fang-xin is also an excellent cook and this is a bonus for the residents who train everyday at Tian Xia Academy because they always look forward to her meals!

The one thing that Tian Xia Academy didn’t excel was the food because most of the time it tasted bland and offered very little nutritional value. She had realised this when she got a little older and was introduced to more responsibilities such as preparing daily meals in the kitchen with the canteen ladies. Fang-xin decided to make the effort of learning what’s good food to cook in a humble kitchen like the academy’s.

She be began to do her own research by speaking to the locals in the local street market that sells some of the best meats, fruits and vegetables. In the process she also made friends with some the chefs in the restaurants and dim sum parlours when she was still a little kid. They enjoyed her charm and willingness to learn that they even passed on some house favourites from their very own kitchen.

After years of practice she has manage to cook meals that can cater even for 100 people at one time!

To prepare such glorious meals she does her shopping in bulk every once a week and usually on a Saturday weekend where her local town holds the street market where fresh spices, rice, meat, seafood, fruits and vegetables are sold at bargain prices. She loves to do her shopping and is always friendly with her neighbourhood (she tends to chat about how the week went by and also exchange topics about cooking).

By the end of the day she would have both hands full and her back too (she carries a knapsack with her). She is able to carry such a heavy load probably because she has been doing a little bit of physical training herself! Fang-xin’s not only charming but strong too!

She hopes to one day see her older brother again in town. When she will see Fei once again she shall never know as she heads back towards Tian Xia Academy hidden away in mountains that watches over the sunset.

Details on this challenge will not be revealed just yet! Though I will tell you that it is dead easy and anyone can enter it!
