You may be wondering why I called this piece the Elite 4 when there are actually 6 of them in there. XD Allow me to explain a little more of the cast of characters in Fei's present saga. = )

Every year the Tian Xia Academy trains students to continue to uphold the customs and traditions of Martial Arts and the discipline of Harmony & Friendship amongst nearby communities of the Eastern kingdom.

Every lifetime the Master of the Academy chooses 5 students who will take the opportunity to become masters themselves and practice what they had been taught in the academy to other communities.

These 5 students will become the elite members of the academy and each of them have their own special ability. 4 of these elite members will be commanded by a leader of the group.

Master Fung has chosen the following students:

Bahn- Lee (He is of Dog species and specialises the Elegant Fist. It may sound like a weak form however when used correctly it can be one of the most deadliest of techniques)

Jimmy (He is of Panda species and specialises the Wild-Fire Fist. Don't let his smile fool you because when he's serious you better watch out for his raging barrage of attacks)

Riki (She is of Duck species and specialises in the Solid Fist. He fists are as strong as steel and will break hard stone with ease)

Tarjar (He is of Tiger species and specialises in the Swift Fist which is a combination of fast and powerful strikes)

Haku (He is of a species undetermined yet and specialises in Blinding Fist) which will is much quicker than the Swift fist and just as powerful. This technique opens up to other potential moves that is yet discovered by the Master himself.

And of course...

Fei (He is of Horse species and specialises in the Wind & Storm Fist). This special ability of his is a combination of two elements which is highly rare for any student. Being able to control wind and storm takes much patience and the results are paranormal.

Master Fung chose (from bottom-left clockwise) Bahn-Lee, Riki, Jimmy & Tarjar as the Elite 4. What was left was for a leader to be chosen.

Haku and Fei were amongst those to be privileged to lead the Elite 4. In the end the master chose Fei even though both had strength, agility and ability in close measure it was the level of dexterity, insight that seperated the two.

Haku was too simple-minded which can be good in some cases but unfortunate for situations where trusting another who may be the enemy to the Academy and it's students.

Fei had an open mind and was more careful with his opinions which makes him a better leader especially when assessing complex situations which require the safety of all people.

However in this drawing you may wonder why Fei is in the middle and wearing his present clothes? It doesn't make any sense (he is suppose to be wearing attire similar yet outstanding to the Elite 4 but I still haven't come up with the design yet... XXD). And why is Haku in there when it is suppose to be only 5 people in the group? Allow me to explain a little further... X3

Remember how Fei was casted away by Master Fung ever since that day he betrayed him? Well when he was gone Master Fung had decided to hand over the title of leader to Haku. ^^

But in this shot it is pretty much like a one-off thing. This shot is set in the present as if Fei did come back to the Academy for a secret/nostalgic visit. XXD And well it seems as if the Elite 4 were very glad to see him (especially Tarjar who is pulling off a peace/victory sign! Oh yeah! XD). You may have noticed that Haku isn't too impressed.

Anyway I hope you'll enjoy this drawing. It is a taste of what's to come in Fei's saga. I'm in the middle of coming up for the key players and events in Fei's present saga when Ashworth and friends (i.e. Ash, Ruby and Parmir) will meet him and recruit him (well Fei joined by will... XD Spoiler! *SHOT* XXD)
