. Just some quick drawing I did years ago. This was a scene from my manga (currently nameless). Aodas is my original character...so if you steal her I will personally murder you. The manga is undergoing some serious work right now, but hopefully it will be up on my site in the near future.... Media: drawing with traditional media, scanned, and finished with Photoshop
. Style: I am aware that I have never before done cell-styled shading. This is my attempt at trying something new. I've always thought of it as lazy, but it was actually very fun and the finished product was very clean. So, you will probably be seeing more characters from my manga popping up in cell-style and hopefully become interested...^_^

In this picture I like the angle that was chosen it really gives the picture look more dynamic...I think that is the word I'm stretching towards. Also the minimalism in the picture, lack of background and limiting colors, really work well in this particular picture....not a pitcher of water. ( I promise). The emotion on the face really has this deep meaning to it. Like the viewer can only guess what is going on in Aodas' mind. Thank nice! :mediate:

I got the impression that Aodas is stabbing the viewer too...which isn't a bad thing at all

It's wierd, I'm not sure if you meant to, but it does seem like she's stabbing me... I guess it's 'cos the blood is blurred... it seems like she just gutted me with the sword and I'm starting to get whoozy... I love it! (gotta love a pic that guts ya!)

I don't remember thi one, but i like it alot. they say berserker's eyes go red...i have alot to say aobut berserkers (i think they are way coooool) and maybe i will say it to you....but not now (don't want to take up space). i notice that the blood is splattered like it's on a camera lense, nice touch...i want to read more aodas comic please....^^sometime any way. oh, and i'll help you take down anyone who steals this...heheh, or at least i'll watch and cheer you on...i don't like to get blood on my clothes^^

O.o I remember this one, but I've never seen it colored. I didn't realize her eyes are red...or maybe it's just bloodlust? The detail on the sword is awesome! Durn you and your talent for painting blood! Mine always looks like red goo...

. actually, that was the exact look I was going for. I'm really happy someone noticed. ^^ well, it's not -you- in particular she's trying to kill, so you can rest assured. unless you like it that way then, alas, my friend, Aodas wants you DEAD. muahahahahahaaaa. *cough*
. well, like I said...this is a scene from my manga. it's rather interesting who she actually IS stabbing (at least, I think so...) but that is all I can say.

I really enjoy the angle in this one. plus the sparce use of red really brings out the feeling in the whole piece. Overall a real cool look. ^_^
