My first Pokemon amigurumi in a while.This is Shuckle.
I...sort of hate Shuckle, lol
His head was the hardest part. It's shaped kind of like a golf club, which is not that easy a shape to crochet. I think I had to do it 3 or 4 times before I was happy with the final shape. The limbs were super easy, just a bit tricky to attach inside the... protrusions? I don't know what they are. Those were... interesting to make, and even more interesting to attach to the shell.
I like to use the colors that are in the official art if I can, and not the anime, which is why the protrusion-things and markings are "bone" colored and not white.
There is a dowel rod running through his head and neck into his body. The head did stay up by itself, but it was really easy to make it flop over, so I decided a bit more support was needed.
About 9 or 10 inches tall, and about 20 hours to complete.
