Description
Here's a character who needs no introduction. This full size model of Gollum was done as a collaboration between myself and several other sculptors. I worked on the head and arms. I also did the painting of the figure. It was the first time I did anything this large and the most amount of silicone we ever used. IΒ always felt sorry for Gollum, he was controlled by the dark power of the ring and he tried to fight it but it was too strong. Frodo was nearly overpowered by the ring as well, if it hadn't been for Sam he would've probably would've suffered the same fate as Gollum. I also think Gollum was seriously mentally ill; he showed signs of ScitophraniaΒ (hearing voices, paranoiaΒ etc.)
