Cavendish felt his body tense the closer his partner came, his heartbeat deafening as it pounded in his chest. Dakota wrapping his arms around his neck caused a shiver to shoot up his spine, it taking everything in the older man not to lose composure altogether– least his breathing betray him.
And yet those shaded covered eyes seemed to look right through him. All knowing in a way that usually frustrated him. Dakota laughed.
“C’mere, ya big lug,” his breath was warm and moist, and Cavendish couldn’t help but stare at the lips that nearly touched his own.
“If ya wanted a kiss, all you had to do was ask.”
I had a scene in my head and went for it.

If you actually watched the show, in season 2 you find out that they are actually closer to the same age-- with Dakota having worked for the Time Bureau a little before Cavendish. BUT, I get the feeling your issue is more with the fact I drew a picture of them being gay, more so than anything else.

It is a wild leap to call me a creep for assuming I've drawn anything of Amanda and Milo together-- just because you saw me draw something between two consenting male adults. For the record, I haven't. But it was still rude. And in fact, makes me uncomfortable since there IS a trend throughout history of people connecting homophobia with pedophilia.
Just something to think about with how you word things in the future.

After that one episode, I'm really wondering. Cavendish is pretty good at getting himself killed in really horrifying ways yet Dakota keeps bringing him back, even creating an army of time doubles as proof. He cares about that old fart. Whether it's because of true love, some hidden family connection, or simply a job that became more personal only time will tell.

Yeah, it's very obvious how much Dakota cares... I hope we eventually get to a point where we can see more of it from Cavendish. THOUGH, I think the one episode where they played hooky shows how much he enjoys being around him.
