Description My Little Pony - Rarity and Fancy Pants

This took all freaken day to do... I just wanted to do something that would look like a cheesey romance novel, as a joke...And then I just started doing way too many details.

Oh, and Fancy Pants is best fashion pony. Everybody else go home.

Also I am writing a fan fiction on these two Β and am wondering if I can use this image as the title page.Of course I would put a link to your page in the description of the story. Pfft. While I enjoy the sentiment, and am touched...I have to politely disagree. There are way better artists in this fandom than me. But that's okay, because it DOES make me want to get better. And it's a great way to test myself. (Though, I will not be doing backgrounds all the time. Because they stress me out. XD )

Well the thing about your art is it is both a pretty damn good reproduction of the original style and very alive. Usually I'll see art that is one or the other instead of both. Which is why I like yours best.

This is not saying that there aren't other artists who do the same but just that I don't see it too often.

Thank you. And I agree completely. Fancy Pants is one of the few positive influences from the higher classes, and I think keeping him around would be good for Rarity.

I actually enjoy one-sided Sparity. Spike crushing on her is adorable. I don't, however, ship it where Rarity likes him back. It feels too...pedo for me. But I'm cool with others shipping it. And the fanart for them is adorable.

Saying that...I DO prefer Raripants. It's an obvious ship, and I am surprised it doesn't get love.

I think detailed backgrounds take up waaay too much time, and I'm not the most patient person. I find it funny how aggravated I can get when one bit takes me a million years, and I just want to get to the end. Though, music in the background does help calm me down. But I think it's the frustration that prevents me from doing backgrounds at all, most of the time. Just something I'm sure with more practice and exposure will make it easier, in time, to deal with.

My art gets on there, sometimes. Not all the time, but sometimes...Which makes me wonder what they judge on. Obviously not quality- or else I wouldn't be on there. Maybe they pull names from a hat or something, I don't know.

But thank you. I'm glad you like it. Even despite the fact you're not in the MLP fandom...Matter of fact, I'm not sure I fully count as being in the fandom. I barely talk to people about it, or communicate. All I really do art wise is write sometimes and draw. Eh, if I am I'm probably on a lower tier or something. LOL.
