Can I just say - SO MUCH FUN! This is Jordan (c) Copyright *maquila . I was told that she's a very confident woman, comfortable with her larger size. She's a very sexy, curvy lady with a love of Harley Quinn, and side-kicks in general. For her pose I went very pin-up because harley quinn has a very pin-up feel to her poses, so when I had to design an outfit for her, I threw in some of her loves. Pinup, Harley Quinn, and classy sexiness and designed her a very unique side-kick-esque outfit. I had a blast XD I don't usually get to draw larger women, so I had fun :3Character is (c) Copyright

XD thank you so much! lol i've had a few people tell me she doesn't look large at all , maybe it's because i'm so used to my own style, but I can definitely tell the size difference >.< it's good to see someone else noticed!

I think it's because people have this strange idea that the only girls who can have an hourglass shape are really skinny ones. But it definitely shows in her shoulders and upper arms. If you ever need an awesome reference for a larger curvy woman, Patricia Day [link] is a beautiful curvy woman who is a little on the larger side and wears it well. When I first saw this picture, I seriously thought that this was a drawing of her.

You can be larger without being overweight or chunky--its another body type no different from petite, tall, or average. "Larger" girls just tend to have a wider body frame all around [[wider hips and shoulders, larger ribcage for example]], even if they don't have any excess body weight to go with it.
