Description
An illustration from my story, linked below. Ras returns to his home after an extended time away due to his failing health, only to find it overrun with refugees and abandoned children begging on the street. He's outraged that the city is not taking care of the orphans, and outraged at the seeming indifference of his people. Β He decides to take one of the urchins, known on the streets as Whimpers, to his parents.ΒNaturally, chaos ensues because of this decision. Also, on the lighter side of the equation, adorableness.

Aww well I can definitely see the "adorableness" side here! Β Great job on the characters' poses and the interaction between them. Β The colouring is lovely too, I especially like those little white lines you use to bring out the lighting!

Hah, that would be awesome, I love sharing my writing. Β I tried to put together an alien civilization that was believable, different, but still with a lot of emotional similarities to mankind. I also thought it was important to expose the characters' stories before they get into a war with mankind (no spoilers there, that's what the novels are about.) I just enjoy writing people, human or otherwise, and showing them at both their best and their worst. It's nice to do an illustration showing the characters who are normally fairly decent people getting the chance to express it. Β
