This painting... oh god this painting. I wanted to get at least one more thing up before i leave on holidays for a month, so i started this thinking, yeah should take and hour or two.... 12 hours later and ta da! Its all done. The flowers were the hardest part, but i'm damn proud of the actual butterfly, i was trying to make it lifelike and furry, so i hope i captured that. Feel free to

Very nice! It's evident that you did spend a long 12 hours on this, and I commend you for that. At first glance, it appears to be a photograph. The more I look, the more little things start jumping out at me that prove it's not. But that's all right. There are a few places that appear to have been done hastily--the butterfly's actual body and the green stems, for instance--but this nice nevertheless. Keep up the good work!

Its simplistic but really lovely!!! i like it, i dont know why but it reminds me of summer. Must be cause thats when butterflys come out. Its really good!

its really nice but a background other than grey would look nicer i think, just any other colour cause it kinda detracts from the butterfly with the dull colour behind it... otherwise seriously awesome!

the colors you used were wonderfully chosen, really looks like light affecting a surface rather than just dark part of leaf and light part of leaf, etc. great job ^^

Oh dear god. Holy wow! Pretty!
Only thing that looks a bit outta place is the actual body of the butterfly; the lines on it are just a widdle bit indefinite.

I really like this one. Partly, because I love butterflies...partly because it's cute that you called it flutterby...and partly because you've done such a fantastic job on it.
It all looks so lifelike, which obviously, was the point.

yeah, i tried to simulate that with some random light brown parts... but cause i downsized it a bit, they disappeared.
