Jedi Master

Not a single person would have ever suspected that Master Diji, chairman of the Jedi Golf Club and P.A Spokesman for the Galactic Republic would have made it as far as he did within the Jedi.

For as the doors opened to the Jedi Temple, a warm smile came from Diji, his hands still on the locks. The highly decorated and respectable Jedi Master began to back away from the door, bowing slightly to the presence before him.

Darth Cimmeri growled as she passed through the threshhold, as if allergic to the very structure itself.

Master Diji, while not seduced by the Darkside himself, was a double agent and was under the command of the Sith Lord, Darth Horus. The mole that led countless Jedi to their doom, Master Diji led Darth Cimmeri through the somewhat vacant halls of the Jedi Temple.

Most Jedi had been away on missions to stop Darth Horus, mislead on the countless worlds he was supposedly on. Mislead by tales of his horror spreading through the innocent. All fabrications made by the lies Diji lead them to so foolishly believe.

A few Jedi became aware of the presence of Cimmeri and came to stop the Ancient Sith Lord. But as they soon discovered, they were no match for her. They didn't suspect for a moment Master Diji. But once the fighting began, it became all too apparent just where Diji's loyalties had lay.

One Jedi cried out as he fell before Master Diji, a gaping hole in his stomach, "Why!!".

A cold, "It's just business" is all Master Diji said as he lowered his royal purple blade through the skull of another, who attempted an ambush.

Remembering the massacre that took place before, the Jedi were hot to destroy the Sith Lord and the traitor. Their emotions guided their actions, and lead them to their collective deaths.

Deep inside the temple, Yoda and Rapunzell had sat in meditation. A quake in the Force alerted them to the savage attack taking place right under their nose. They rose, lightsabers in hand as the doors to the chamber slid open.

The attack lasted less than two minutes, leaving over a hundred Jedi dead and dying. So powerful was the Darkside that this tragedy, like the one that claimed the Padawan Nikki, went largely unheard by other Jedi.

Master Diji and Darth Cimmeri entered the chamber without saying a word. Master Yoda narrowed his eyes at Cimmeri before shifting them to Diji.

"What you have done.." Yoda spoke, "Any Idea do you have?"

"I've done what I was paid to do, Master. Nothing more, nothing less.." said Master Diji as he walked into the room, circling around Yoda and Rapunzell.

"I feel bad for those that I've come to be familiar with and those that I've shared bread with..but those that are weak shall not keep those that are strong from the prosperity that we all seek." Diji added.

"Material needs, a Jedi needs not." Yoda said, following Diji's movements. Darth Cimmeri began entering the room, moving towards Master Rapunzell.

"I was never a Jedi, Master Yoda. For all your wisdom and all your power, you could not even see that. Therefore you are weak. And there is no room in this Galaxy for the likes of you."

Master Diji moved between Yoda and Rapunzell, glaring between the both of them as Darth Cimmeri rounded back, standing behind him. Master Rapunzell grinned slightly and closed her eyes.

"..You give an impressive argument, Master Diji." Said Master Rapunzell, "Perhaps the Jedi are weak. But that does not matter."

Master Yoda tensed, the Force screamed into his mind and he took a defensive posture with his Lightsaber. A bead of sweat formed on his brow.

"..At least not to you." Is all Rapunzell said before her left hand streaked forward in a hard angle, unleashing a torrent of Force Lightning. Master Diji, caught off guard screamed as his body began to burn from the energy. So powerful, it lifted him off his feet and several feet into the air where he was held. And in almost an instant, Darth Cimmeri ran her blade through Master Diji's chest.

Master Rapunzell retracted her hand and Master Diji fell, singed and smoking, a pool of blood forming around his imperfect wound. He reached to Darth Cimmeri barely squeaking out, "...im..impossible..you..y-you.."

Darth Cimmeri bared her fangs towards the smoldering man and impaled her blade deep into his brain. Master Diji's body convulsed for a moment and became still.

Master Yoda glarred at Master Rapunzell and Darth Cimmeri, "Your true self, at last has been revealed Master Rapunzell..."

Master Rapunzell grinned softly as she moved towards Master Yoda, Darth Cimmeri at her side. Rapunzell shifted her eyes to the side, eyeing the Sith Lord. "It's been a long time...sister."

"Yes. It has. Now that the fool is dead all we need to do is destroy this little mouse.." Darth Cimmeri snarled, as she turned her attention to Master Yoda. "..and Master's plan will be complete."

A long silence held the room as Yoda choked up on the hilt to his Lightsaber. Master Rapunzell and Darth Cimmeri roared into action, leaping at the old Jedi Master, who in turn let out a vicious war cry.

Down the hall, the sounds of an incredible lightsaber battle could be heard.

The light was blinding...
