Description Well. First off, it's untitled because I've stared at it for 20 minutes and can't think of a damn thing.

There isn't much to say about this piece other than the base image was created in pen doing one of my higher-quality sketching. Meaning I put a little more thought into it than just flat out sketching away not caring where lines where. The only reason I colored it was because I thought my wife McKenzie would like it colored.

It also was a guinea pig to the first time I used a Tablet to color with. I'm not overly fond of the tablet's abilities but it was able to do detail that I couldn't before with a mouse. On the other hand, the time consumed by using the Tablet did not equal the quality that resulted. I'm not very happy with how it turned out.

It was more for show and practice with a medium I never used before. I can't say I failed at it, but I sure as hell didn't succeed. Any comments or tips on Tablets are most welcome.

And pick apart the sketch all you like. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it and toss it out in a fit of depression.

My wife likes it, so I really care less how the rest of you feel about it.

I have issues with the clothes design... I dunno I have never liked anything that dipped down below the bust. But that's a personal opinion. I just don't like the way breasts look when all you really notice is where the chest connects with the diaphragm.

Otherwise I think the hair is pretty awesome and the rest looks great,

The texture on her robe is great and the hair is nicely done too....her face could use a bit more definition though and the blue swirls could either blend better or be sharper...either way...depends on what you're going for.

As for tablets....they definately take some getting used to...cause they work more like pencils or paintbrushes, or some other non-digital media than a mouse does. I've found it helps to think that way....if your tablet is pressure sensitive, take advantage of it on your brush settings and it will behave even more like traditional media, like varying the size of your brush or the opacity by how hard you press.

If you've got any questions or want/need any more tips on tablets, drop me a note, or my IM screennames are on my page.
