Announcement(s):
After all the prep and hopefully a more thought out management process, DHC 2 finally arrives. This contest will be a mix of a "Draw My Character" + "Design an Outfit" kind of event.

If you help set up the contest and or want to contribute, I'll feature you in a journal if you do. You may ask me to feature stuff like Commission or Adopt information as well. See Prizes, Point Fund, and Judging for signups and how to contribute.

Background Info:
Ever notice how in comics, movies, TV shows, etc. the characters usually never change their clothes? That or they must have multiple copies of the same set of clothes they wear every time. In real life this is highly improbable unless we're dealing with someone who rarely showers. Thus I'd think it makes sense if my characters changed their clothes every so often. While I can come up with things of my own, it'd be more fun if I can bring a few more ideas into this project. Or just more art in general.

Rules:
- Characters to select from come from my story Demon Hunters (DHC = Demon Hunters Contest, get it? bad joke...).
- What I have in mind is for contestants to draw a character(s) of your choice any way you want like one would in a simple "Draw my OC" style contest, but dress them up in something that's not how they appeared in chapters 1 and 2.

- Of course you can draw anyone, I just have the most examples for these characters above
- You may draw as many characters in one submission as you want.
- You may submit as many entries as you want.
- The entry should focus on one of my characters, not someone else's. Just as to not confuse the judges.

Aside: You see artistic quality and styles of all sorts here. Regardless of those factors and whether you win this contest, I might use your design in the story (with your permission of course) if I like it.For example I might use one of these (maybe with some edits):

Deadline: Since school is probably in session for most of us, I'll give you all a longer period of time and suggest Midnight of Jan 3, 2015 (Saturday, before the Sunday). Pacific Standard Time as the deadline. I assume that'll be a break for most of us. This is subject to change

Divisions: You may enter one or both of them. You don't have to enter both.
Commoner's:
I notice one can tell a main character apart from the rest of the bystanders (or who may be important) based on how they are dressed. Look at the first season of RWBY for example. So why not break this trend a bit? By now you probably know who the main characters in my story are, but seeing main characters so dressed so flashy in other cartoons gives them away, and probably gives us a headache at the same time. But that might just be me.

In this division you'd draw them in a more average or normal looking outfit, nothing too overly decorated. You can think of it as if you were to walk outside wearing that outfit you just designed, no one can predict you're cosplaying / dressing up as a fictional character.

(Almost) Unrestricted
This is where I'll let people draw my characters in anything. You can make it look like you'd be cosplaying if you wore that outfit you designed. You can make them look like an anime protagonist, someone's outfit from another series, you can troll (plz indicate this is a troll submission) and dress them in something completely absurd or out of character, etc. Why I made this "Almost" Unrestricted and not "Completely" Unrestricted is because my characters are all under 18. So be careful drawing them in suits if that suit happens to be his/her birthday suit.

Judging: Judging criteria will be based on the artistic quality of the work overall and how well each contestant made the outfit go with the character. Things to consider include; coloring them looks more favorable, multiple characters look better, and the troll submissions probably won't do you too good let's say if you dressed someone in a clown costume or a tutu.

Judging signups are still open until the last day of the contest. If you become a judge, you may not contribute prizes nor participate in the contest. You will be featured if you are a judge. My panel of judges so far are:
