Description

In the past few pages, Cyril improved her striking with Mr. Ren's pad drills. Here, Cyril starts sparring and training with her new "classmates"; good news is she's already dealing with takedowns (with Matthias) much better than her first attempt against Conrad. Unfortunately, I can't recycle as much; no existing Matthias or grappling friendly models yet. For those who looked at the throw by video from page 22, you may notice Cyril isn't grappling, but decided to throw a high kick. This is from a strategy where your opponent has his/her back turned toward you, is running, and is also facing somewhat sideways, so you throw a head kick. In the UFC, Yves Edwards KOd Josh Thomson with this almost exact move:

Cyril's new outfit is from a contest entry that submitted long ago; I chose the green and dark colored outfit from this folder because Cyril and Matthias will end up on the ground; light colors won't work so well. In case anyone is curious what happened after Cyril got her new outfit, Matthias the wrestler takes her down, Cyril applies a guillotine choke on Matthias as a counter, Matthias applies a Von Flue choke as a counter to Cyril's counter, Cyril lets go (so she doesn't get choked out), and they separate at the final panel.
