So here's Bossk's turn for my series on the SW Bounty Hunters!This one is kind of inspired by the book Tales of the Bounty Hunters. The one about Bossk, talks about his and his species hate for the Wookiees. It talks about his God, I believe she's called the "Score Keeper" and how the Trandoshan's present their Wookiee kills before her to earn points to get into their "Heaven". This one is Bossk's presentations to his God.
I almost stopped doing this one, because I didn't really like the fact of drawing all the dead Wookiees, especially piled onto each other, but I also thought that this is what Trandoshan's do, so here it is! I want people to react to this one. I see the horror of the dead Wookiee warriors, but I also see the satirical nature of him posing in front of his "fresh kills" much like deer hunters do, which is what Bossk is, a hunter. I think people will either like this or hate it because of the subject matter. I've come to like it. I like Bossk, I think he's a fun character, and I wish he'd get more EU devoted to him!
Side note: Bossk is my favorite Bounty Hunter ever since I first saw ESB when I was a kid! I thought he was so cool looking, and........he's the only other Bounty Hunter in the OT to get dialog other than Fett! Bossk is cool!

Bossk is the second best bounty huntre in the Star Wars Galaxy, who couldn't love him for that. In the Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy by K. W. Jeter, Fett even says, if only to himself I'm pretty sure that Bossk is ruthless, cunning, and made to be in the business of hunting. Just Fett can always outwit him. Plus Bossk's a lizard man, he has to be awesome, damn good, and evil.

Actually this is my satire of all those hunter pics in front of the ferocious man-eating deer and birds they just had to shoot. You can probably tell where I stand on hunting for sport.

You know what? I've never really liked Bossk. I had the action figure as a kid, but I thought he looked stupid...until now! You've drawn him really well. I love all the detail right down to his scaley arms & legs. This gives me a new respect for his character & race. Thanks for drawing this & sharing it with the rest of us.

That's cool, I'm glad I could change your view of him! I thought he was super cool the moment he said his lines in the ESB! My friend had the Boba Fett figure and I had Bossk and they used to team up to take down the Rebels. Ah the good ol' days! He's a fun and tricky character to draw too!

Awesome... love the "pile-o-wookies". Bossk has always been one of my favorites. Seems some of the background characters like Boba Fett, Aurra Sing, YAKFACE for cryin out loud get all the underground fans. Bossk is cooler than all of em if you ask me.

I like the look of glee and satisfaction on his...erm...muzzle? He doesn't really have a face as such does he? One thing I always remember about Bossk from Empire was how crappy his feet looked! LOL They looked like paper mache over sneakers with claws added last minute!

Oh my! Wookies are floofy, but not necessarily a favourite species of mine (me having my heart set on Kaleesh and Nautolans 8D), but who doesn't love a badass? ^^ Bossk sounds cool, in the way that he presents his kill to his god and is damn proud of it. I mean come on, to kill several wookies like that is just awesome!! Like even though I love Jedi with all my heart, I have my eyes set on Grievous even though he collects thier sabres for the mere sport of it. XD
I'm loving the subtle shadings of the wookie fur, all that detail certainly shows much skill!

Bossk is so fun to draw, a little bit difficult, but that's where the fun lies! I love his grin, so "reptile" like, he's very proud of his "trophies"!
Please read Tales of the Bounty Hunters, his tale is really fun, but I think IG88 has the best one!

drawing is great...as usual...at first didnt realise the wookies were dead....but now im quite sad although i dont hate Bossk for it...it it was real life then yes i would but you can accept that sort of thing more in fantasy
