Description
A day late, but anyway: day 4 - 'under water'.
I decided to pick up an old school work I did when I was 16 or 17. The topic back then was 'expressionistic self portrait' and many things changed. Back then I felt not very comfortable in my skin: female role models fought with my tendencies to just be the 'best friend girl', be less complicated, more fun to be with. Creativity sometimes floaded me, used to be chaotic, left me breathless and lost sometimes. Like water - my beloved element and the scarriest thing of which I can think in one.
Now, as I'm twice as old as I did the carving, I got used to it. I'm more self-aware, more calm and ready to be floaded. I'm not afraid of drowning anymore, nor do I have to figure out what I want to be. I'm everything - 'a bitch, a lover; a child, a mother; a sinner and a saint' ♡
