Description Some assorted creatures from the red swamp, only serves to flesh out the ecosystem abit and is mostly for fun, so designs will be on the more simple side for the time being, although if I continue to do more there certainly will be more unique creatures.

1. Algduck: Bird wyverns related to the old world Gargwa, they stand at around 11 foot tall and are more alert than their brethren, they are equipped with large claws on their wings and feet that can be used to defend against smaller attackers. Their main form of defense against large predators is camouflage, their brown and green feathers aid in this well. The red tint on their underside is due to red algae growing on the underside of their plumage, this happens due to them usually staying still for prolonged periods in avoiding predation.

2. Yellow Trapjaw: Fanged Wyverns that get their name from their vice-like jaws and yellow horns. Usually around 18-20 foot long, they are generalist carnivores that ambush from the water, and the treetops. Their long legs and flexible body allows them great maneuverability in both swimming through the winding roots and rivers, and climbing up the large trees in search of prey. This makes them particularly dangerous for any traveling merchant or person going through the woods, as these crocodilians are well known for being maneaters, and are more feared than even the larger Esotodus for this reason alone. To make things worse for the hunted, Trapjaws usually hunt in mated pairs, and mate for life.

3. Red footed Spinecrab: Small Caparaceons that keep out of the way of the other denizens of the swamp and surrounding wetlands. Usually only getting to around half the size of a man, they can still be dangerous if startled, but are usually docile. Their sharp spines and large pincers are mostly for defense against predators like Great Sintachi and Sintachi, who are common predators of the crabs, anything larger still is usually resolved by burrowing in the mud with their back turned up. Spinecrabs, much like their relatives in the old world, use dead monster skulls for protection, usually using whatever suitable skull they find, unlike their more picky relative.
