Not just eyes in the back of your head, but always being able to watch your back, to give you a new point of view, and generally have a spare, well, everything handy. Sure, you'll have to pay a bit extra for custom tailoring, but if you're already planning on heading down the path of extropianism, technoprogressivism, transhumanism, singulatarianism, immortalism, and whatever other -isms along those lines is compatible with the philosophy of morphological freedom, then having a tail that's more useful than a mere handless arm is a deeply under-explored path that's more than worth exploring.
