(okay first i would like to state that Eridan is still an asshole and as her moirail he shouldn't have been driving her insane)
she totally broke his heart and felt nothing after it. she completely moved on
also she tried to kill him in revenge of Sollux's 'death'.

dude, that wasnt her place to be upset. she told him repeatedly that she wasnt flushed, wasnt flushed, wasnt flushed- hes the one who kept driving it, man. and yeah, HE ALMOST KILLED HER MATESPRIT. im p sure on alternia no one would have batted an eyelash if she had culled his ass, seadweller or not. it was just as much that as it was self defense, AND keeping eridan from becoming an enemy (or just ending up dead) by joining bec noir. he was being an absolute stupid jerk all around. feferi honestly isnt at fault for any of it.

also sollux challenged him to a duel and he lost. He didn't even die.
I mean, if a shetroll is throwing a trident at you and your still burning with anger then what do you do? Abscond or agreive(cant spell)? Based on eris personallity, it was to attack. The only one he killed unfairly was kanaya and juat like sollux she didn't stay dead.
My point is that eridan is an asshole and its mostly his fault for a lot of shit but you cant say that fef is completely inocent. Shes mostly inocent but not completely
