Haha. A neg scan is a scan taken from the negative. You can buy negative scanners for your computer so that you don't have to make a second generation scan (scan from a print). When purchasing a scanner, you're likely going to be best off going with brand names that you know and trust in the film/digital world. Brands like Canon, Nikon, Kodak, Fuji, Polaroid, Epson, etc. are probably going to work out well for you.
*When making scans, make sure you clean your negs/prints first! Even the tiniest hairs and dust particles show up big time in the scanning process.
BTW, thanks for the awesome compliment!!

Once again, you capture the joy in being with someone. It flows through the whole picture...
Simply amazing.

the dynamic between these two is electric. you've really captured that.
my favorite thing in photography is the feeling of knowing the subject well, be it a person or a place or a toaster. photographs that have character. this does.

they are sooo easy to photograph, mainly because of their all-american smiles. they're naturals. whitney and john and myself have photographed together a few times, and every one was a good shoot. i'm really fortunate to have models like these to work with. that, and they're just all around fun kids.

Great candid moment, I love it. Is the falloff added or is it just because your lens was wide open?
