Me too, but since this is a Starbase, I hear the DS9 theme. For some odd reason the slow, brassy fanfare of the DS9 theme always makes me imagine stepping out of the airlock onto a Starbase I've never seen before for some R&R. It's because they used to play it all the time at "Star Trek: The Experience" and much of that attraction was modeled on the DS9 station. ^_^

I like how the Enterprise is maintaining a firing position despite the peaceful intentions of both parties. also maintaining themselves without using the base as a potential shield.

This is nice. I was always a little miifed at how dinky K-7 appeared in TWT. It's easy to forget the installation is actually larger than a starship. Plus, you add your fine flair for dramatic angles.
It doesn't beat your pic of two Connies orbiting in formation for screen saver status, but it's certainly up there among my favorite pictures.
