Description
Recently divorced, this was shot in the last month of that period in my life. I had it up here for a day or two and removed it until the ugliness was over. Life continues on now but I'm glad I shot this image...Ring, plexiglass, gas, match. No post processing accept Sharpening and resizing.

At first it gives the impression that the ring is rolling and spreading the flame as it goes

thats always a kick in the nuts... I haven't been married, yet, still not in a point in my life where i want to jump into that but my parents were divorced and it was such a shit process. glad you came out on top thought and level headed.

yes they do indeed. however most of the times when negative things happen the reason for them happening are 9 times out of 10 rubbish.

Don't feel bad. I threw mine at a wall and it broke. They were promise rings we bought at a fair, and were made of hematite. But still... I wasn't expecting it to break when I threw it at the wall in front of him. That didn't go over so well... haha.
This really has great meaning though. I love everything about it. I want a print of this one!
