Description
Saw a program about Martin Luther King Jr. the other day. I wanted to shoot an image with the theme Opposites for an online contest. This is what I came up with.Shooting absolute white and absolute black in the same frame is a nightmare but I had fun with it.

very cool photo! so just out of curiosity- about how many different props do you have for your photography? Do you only buy props when you have an idea for them or do you just have a bunch of random stuff that you later come up with ideas for?

Any reason the white hand is the closed and reluctant one and the black one the open and taking one?
To be honest, even if it wasn't intentional, looking on this picture in a white-black racist view it is probably correct, most often anyway, we pale ones are more often more reserved than our darker peers, just look at our history.
In the end it's a very well done picture!

At first glance, it reminded me of the Spy X Spy comic from MAD >.<

It looks like a glare, the black hand has a laquer to it. I like it, it adds a polarity to the shadows on the white hand.
