Description windows within windows
a frame inside a frame
we have to look for the textures
within the glass
and think about the lucidity of reflection
because there is no view
beauty is a thing we have to look for
in a world that turns uglier and uglier
by the day

there is a price to pay
for natural beauty
and it is going to become
more and more expensive

we will have to learn to love
the textures in the glass
and the lucidity of reflection
when all we have
is the cracks in the wall

and the paint which has dried
cracked and peeled to become
our natural beauty
and the weeds which grow
where they didn't spray their poison

there is no wasteland
this planet is a building site

and screens are cheaper than windows
any view you want
microsoft replacement windows
the lucidity of refection
we can change things
virtually

Hello and good day to you.

I cannot express my complete gratitude and admiration of your photograph, and you as an artist (whether or not you consider yourself one, but I do ). I found your piece to be absolutely beautiful, well thought out, and executed perfectly. The colours, or lack of colours, emotion, use of props, and concepts are just brilliant. It is an image like yours I find thankful to have layed eyes upon. As I am a very visual person. Anyhow, my only way of saying thank you is to feature you in my weekly features located at [link]

If for any reason you would like your image to be removed I would be happy to oblige as I respect you and your property as both an artist and human being.

I'd love to hear what you have to say about the collection, or if you just want to say hello.
All feedback is welcomed and appreciated.

Love
Jack.

i think when you say it all in your "artist's comments" , you intimidate people , they don't know what to comment on this .

so true words and a beautiful photo ...simply .

thanks hanan
but i don't think what i say intimidates people into not commenting... i am only expressing some thoughts which have an abstract relationship with the image... i could say anything... and so could anyone else

if anyone feels intimidated about expressing themselves freely, it is not me who does that to them....

there is something in the general silence that comes from the majority on important matters speaks volumes.... and obviously everyone has their different reasons for that

maybe i was expressing what i felt then . i am not so confortable with words .i never was , much more in english that i almost learned alone .

i am a passionate reader though and i enjoy much those kind of comments . and i admire those who can express their ideas so clearly and beautifully .

do you think silence comes from indifference or from incapacity of discussing due to ignorance ?

i know sometimes i want to speak and i am afraid ..of so many things .

i think silence comes from fear and apathy
ignorance is more about not listening
stupidity is not thinking
we all suffer these things one way or another

you express yourself well!
the great thing about cyberspace is that no one interrupts you mid sentence and you don't have to wait for a pause in the conversation to make your point

...and Firefox corrects your typos ) and no one laughs at your accent and you get a second chance to say a more intelligent thing if you're patient enough to read what you wrote before hitting the send button ..

a lot of advantages .

as much as the inconveniences .

the thing about words... these things which we define our societies and make our laws with..... they don't really matter

if we are open enough to show our ignorance, without shame... then we will learn and will be wise....

it is very difficult to know if our powerful leaders are wise because they hide so well behind their words.... i like to trust those who are not afraid to show their faults, because i know where not to place my trust.... those who hide them are always risky and they control everything

can't agree more about the leaders . you should try to live here , in the "third world" you will get a heart attack if you really listen to what they say ..

you made me glad here . i always show my ignorance (with a little shame though ) ,it means i keep learning . good for me !
