the blue tone really makes this picture for me
I love the whole sepia style you have going on, but I think adding a bit more color like you did in this one, makes the overall look so much more pleasing

Alot of my work is done on computer, just because it's quicker, but this is an oil painting on canvas. I plan to do more paintings in future.

ah, thanks! Too bad the original was lost, and the photo was rather poor, so I used it as a starting point for digital. Why do they crop up? Maybe something to do with growing up with Donald and Daffy, and the whole elaborate ritual of duckhunting. Now if we gave them wapons to fight back with........................

I'm never that sure myself what context to view my work in! They're all open to interpretation. Often people see themes and ideas in my pictures that I hadn't even thought of - which makes me re-examine them afresh. Anyway, glad you like it - I should be putting another new painting on here in the next few days!

i like interpretational pieces.
i believe what intrigues me the most, is your use of colours. each painting in your gallery is as if its from the same planet (not planet earth, maybe a parallel earth) ..its as if you sat in your chair in a park, and painted the characters you seen in the park. all the while keeping the colours to a chosen trademark. kinda hard to explain about the colours.

Discovered your gallery yesterday, as I remember, and...I'm truly impressed by the whole gallery...so impressive is this painting. Lovely, warm tones, it's also a bit creepy in its feel of sadness. Very sublime!
