Amazing how much detail in her hair comes out on what is essentially a subtle toned picture

Infrared does some really odd things under studio lights

And it actually needed very little editing - this is more or less what came out of the camera

Everytime I see one of your awesome IR's I grab my IR Olympus off the shelf and have a fiddle about with it, then realise I need to put in a hell of a lot more time to get it to these standards.. the more I see the more I realise I can't do

Cheers mate I did put a lot of time into infrared 2008/09 learning the ropes - and I mean days and days, months and months of failure to start with - Im just glad ive cracked the studio bit now as well - cant wait to shoot some full nudes
I was also lucky to have the money at the time to get a pro conversion done @ Lifepixel which really helped me get things rolling

I sold my Olympus lenses when I sold the rest of my Olympus gear and switched to Nikon, I only kept one body (circa 2005) and a couple of manual lenses but I think I'm going to struggle without an AF lens, then there is the calibration of the thing.. You definitely did the right thing getting a pro conversion and calibration. Thats only the hardware and there are plenty of people with amazing cameras producing rubbish photographs to prove that gear is only one part of the equation; skill, talent, vision & alot of hard work make the difference, it speaks volumes in your work mate
