I love this piece. I love the shapes and how it feels your stepping into this place. Some issues I see if that there is a problem with the color in relation to the depth. I feel like the back houses in the way distance should be a little darker.
Another thing is that you could pick a few points as focal points and make them brighter to stand out. This piece doesn't have the amount of colored glow I see on other pieces that are similar in other abilities.
I personally think the opened coffin and the lights coming from the house could be great areas to increase the glow.
I adore the composition of this and wish that was a criteria for rating. Cause you feel the scene with what looks like a delightful town that I was to go explore. There is a lot in it, so the town doesn't feel empty but you present it in a pleasant way, that doesn't bombard. Which I think is no easy task. I feel this piece is fairly dynamic and moves well. I also am intrigued by the buildings in the left top corner, and thought the purple color here goes very well to add a lot of mystery. I love how you have included the sky in this too. I am very impressed. Hopefully you will get a lot of attention as an artist. Cause this to me stands out as a great background piece.

Nightmare Before Christmas 
I cannot believe that it's already December!
I've forgotten to update here.  I meant to do a feature for the past two months, and, for lack of time, and a bit of lost thoughts, I'm finally back. 
I really wish I could say that I've been drawing.  I really haven't been.  I lost all enthusiasm as the fall stretched into winter and the days got shorter.  Darkness is not inspirational to me.  Not at all.
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, but I am especially excited for Christmas this year, because my boyfriend is coming back from military training for the holiday!! I'm so excited!!
So, here are some inspiring pieces that I have found, from Halloween to Christmas.
