Your colors control the eye and attract the to the forms you have created. I am still astonished by your work but I am learning here too. Hmmm

Hey big Dave! I love this character and remember her from some of your earlier works. I like the works that feature her primarily as they're always really imaginative!

Im a painting fool man! Just got back from my LosAngeles show [link] and did some serious gallery hopping. Saw all the lowbrow/juxtapoz stars work live and in person which was pretty life changing. Just about Everyone paints with oils on gesso board out there-so I went out and bought like $200 in oils..I dunno how to use em yet but its worth a try-The density/depth of color with oils blows acrylics away--but the drying time will be a weird issue/problem possibly..

Yeah-Thinkspace is courting Hi-Fructose to get me in there eventually-Theres just so many great names and theyre generally pretty new-but yeah-totally agree. I still dig em both though.. I like that HF is geared more toward the traditional art-as Jux is kinda taking the direction of street art-more so-me thinks..I understand that alot of the Jux people jumped ship and swam over to HF also-so its becoming more powerfull a force as we speak..Yeah-I bought the water-based oils-and some solvent that "improves/speeds up" drying time-I dont know how fast-but its worth a try..Im pretty much a Liquidex man-but if your magic is made with Golden-than you dont need to sell me on it-your work is the perfect spokesman. Sometimes I spray gloss over a finished acrylic and it helps deepen the color-but I it makes it impossible to photograph afterwards etc..

How's your time management working out? Have you found a way to integrate all this with your regular life?

Thanks man-That means alot. Its probably looking good just because its a constant thing-painting at least 8hrs a day-every day since last July?maybe..weird..I did take 2 days off in oct because of a mini vacation but suffered because I couldnt take my mind off the work etc..

It looks like you're relishing it!
Have you ever gotten to see any of Europe, brother? Is there a museum you long to visit? I've been to the Hermitage in Russia and the Russian Museum, but that's it...
