General Stuff - Arburian Pelarotas are a peaceful carbon-based species from planet Arburia

Origin - Arburian Pelarotas evolved from large herbivores that ate gourd plants, similar to pumpkins.They developed hands that helped them pick up these gourds and bring them to their mouths and this together with the high nutritional value of these foods and complex migratory and social behaviors allowed Arburian pelarotas to become sapient.

Their ball form came from a time when they needed to protect themselves from large predators, which became extinct a few thousand years ago due to modern Arburian pelarotas being able to protect themselves much better.

Biology - The Arburian pelarota's hind legs are robust and have little mobility, while its front legs are longer, have thumbs and protective shells on the shoulders and forearms.

Arburian pelarotas have plates on their backs, tails, shoulders and forearms. The plates are made of hardened cartilage with a soft, rubery texture. The color and texture are acquired when they eat the gourds, the chemical compounds in them joining with the chemical compounds in the plates. The platess are resistant to impacts, punctures, cuts, heat and electricity, but are vulnerable to very low temperatures and acids.

Arburian pelarotas have a pair of nasal cavities on their faces and a hearing chamber in their skull. The hearing chamber grants them echolocation.

They have sensory hairs between the divisions of their plates, which help them know what is happening around them.

Their segmented skeleton is flexible, allowing them to curl into a protective ball. In this form they can roll, but they are not very fast and take a long time to accelerate. They can normally roll at 23 km/h.

When newborns, they are less robust, and their plates remain grey for a few years.

Males have warm colors and females have cold colors.

Culrure and Technology - Arburia has an average technology level of 8. Modern Arburian pelarotas are known for their unique incense formulas and other chemicals that help care for the body.

Arburian Pelarotas are pacifists, being some of the greatest philosophers and sociologists in the galaxy. They have a weak military force, maintaining good relations with their neighbors with diplomacy and respect.

Arburian society is almost a utopia, even with its relatively low level of technology when compared to Galvans and Cerebrocrustaceans. Arburian pelarotas are seen as a symbol of overcoming and inspiration by other species.

Its buildings are wide, with underground floors and green roofs, with solar panels and plants.

The Arburian government does not have a central figure, being formed by a huge council of politicians representing countries, states and cities on the planet.

The modern Arburian pelarotas do not plan on removing the vulpinic tortugans from Vulpin, as they have already become part of that ecosystem, but they are slowly using their technology to help restore the planet's environment.

History - Like i explained in the Vulpimancer post, the Arburian pelarotas were the ones responsible for the ecological disaster there. This happened before they became pacifists, this event actually being the catalyst to their change in culture

Ben 10 Omni-Biology is my take on the Ben 10 universe, with some more worldbuilding, as best of an explanation as i can give on how tech and the aliens' powers work, stuff that i want to add cause i think they're cool and i plan on eventually attempting to make a comic, but this last one is a maybe.
