Hello Reddit, its your boi once more, MediocreAd. This time with the ~~battle toads~~ ~~frogs of war~~ incurseans. Without further, lets begin. (Sorry for the inconsistent post times btw, this semester has been chaotic so far)

General Stuff - Incurseans are carbon based beings from the now desteoyed planet Terrabuffo.

Terrabuffo - Terrabuffo was a lush planet, its continents covered mostly in rainforests due to a high level of humidity pretty much everywhere, with a few exceptions of course.

Origin - Incurseans are members of the Deinobufo genus, frog-like arboreal predators that specialize in hunting small prey. The incurseans' lineage in particular have dextrous hands which allow for more agile movement when climbing and object manipulation, both traits that led to the development of higher inteligence.

Biology - Besides their climbing, another of their most important traits is their ability to secret a mucus made of non-Newtonian slime that serves three main purposes: helping with body temperature control, breathing, and protection. The protection comes from the fact that non-Newtonian mucus is temporarily stiffer when pressure is applied to it, making incurseans much tougher than they appear.

Incursean mucus can be dissolved with salt, so they really hate oceans.

Their palms also secret more mucus, which helps with climbing.

Their compound eyes grant them excellent vision, being able to see details in the dark, at great distances and 9 different primary colors, even being able to rotate to allow them to have a greater field of view or better depth perception. However, because they are adapted to the shade of dense vegetation, their eyes are sensitive to large amounts of light.

Their noses are just olfactory chambersn not related to their breathing. They are very sensitive to very strong smells.

An Incursean's tongue is about 10 feet long and is stored from the mouth to the bottom of the chest, folding and curling. They use their tongue as a blunt weapon and for grabbing and pulling things, as it is sticky.

The muscles of the jaw, neck, shoulders and chest are the strongest in the body, as their ancient method of hunting was to catch a small animal with its tongue, pull it into its mouth and crush it in one bite.

They are naturally cold blooded

Culrure and Technology - The most advanced incursean empires have an avarege tech level of 10, being known by their war ships.

Modern Incurseans are a species of conquerors, partly out of necessity, as they no longer have a planet to live on and gather resources, partly out of a desire to overcome rival Incursean empires from the time their planet was at war.

Due to the sensitivity of their eyes, they like to wear sunglasses.

Food is considered very valuable among modern incurseans, which is why its common to see royals being gluttunous and overweight while their soldiers, workers and scientists are underweight.

History - Over a thousand years ago, Incursean soldiers stole the Galvan invention Ascalon to end a world war in Terrabuffo. Unfortunately, they didn't know how to control Ascalon properly and destroyed their planet. The destruction was due to the function of "weak nuclear force" having been accidentally on the surface of the planet.

After the destruction of their planet, the only survivors were Incurseans on off-planet ships.

They have not been able to re-establish themselves on another planet, as the warring empires are a constant threat to each other, and if one of them tried to do so, it would be destroyed by the others during the early stages of colonization.

The most powerful Incursean empire is ruled by Emperor Milleous (light of the incursean empire, keeper of the conquest ray, all beings tremble before...).

Ben 10 Omni-Biology is my take on the Ben 10 universe, with some more worldbuilding, as best of an explanation as i can give on how tech and the aliens' powers work, stuff that i want to add cause i think they're cool and i plan on eventually attempting to make a comic, but this last one is a maybe.
