Here are my original colours for "The Evil Dragon" (sans background or lettering).

I don't know why it didn't occur to me from the get-go to try for a more storybook feel for the piece - it seems so obvious to me now! But as it was, I had completely finished colouring the panels before it struck me that the fairytale nature of Josh's script might lend itself to a less conventional approach. It also seemed to me that Alex's lovely lineart would work well with this alternate look, so I gave it a go.

Anyhoo, as the original full-colour, non-sepia version of the panels was completed, I thought it might as well post it on here instead of keeping the poor thing trapped in my hard drive for all eternity
