Thanks for raising this point.
Although you're correct in this observation, I believe FOX News is responsible for a lot of the problem which goes beyond mere political disagreement. That network focuses a lot of scorn onto itself partially because of its extreme political views, but also because of the obnoxious, aggressive way in which it is presented to the public.
As for my poster, I do single out FOX News as an example, but I also titled it "The Media" to communicate a wider contempt for the way the technology has been abused by all parties - even those whose views I agree with.

Any system created by and staffed by humans will have a bias built in. It may be possible to anticipate and attempt to correct for it, but that never really fully works.
I am just as concerned by the now reflex effort to show 'both sides' of any given story. More often than not, media outlets 'have' to have proponents of both sides of any political/social question's adherents portrayed. If they do not give 'equal' air time they are then accused of bias and written off as not adhering to some standard of journalistic integrity. Also, if one side's arguments are found to be inaccurate or fallacious, there seems to be a nearly automatic response that both sides have made errors and that therefore they are equally at fault.

I don't get why Fox News is centered out and shamed more than the others. The other news outlets are just as corrupt. I suppose it's because they are liberal?
