Description I finally got a little free time (and I mean a little) to I decided I would revisit this model. The model is based off the new TARDIS introduced at Christmas (2012). Certain improvements include remodelling the Communication panel items and addition of instruments on other panels.

Next stage:
- replace the monitors to the one that appear later in the series
- Create image for monitors
- Add surrounding passages (maybe other rooms)
- possible Wall remodelling of Walls to conform to the ones in the Show
- Add textures to objects

Any critiques is welcome

I'd like to get a render of this with the door and console screen visible if possible. I am building a website for my wedding and this would be perfect.

That's not bad at all. There's some great resources over atΒ tardisbuilders.com if you don't know about that site already.

I've wanted to make a game using this Tardis design for a while. Is there any chance you would let me download this version of the project? It's perfect for what I wanted to do!!

I would love to but 3 things are stopping me. 1st, it would be a copyright violation (which really bumbs me out). 2nd I need this for my portfolio so a bit nervious about sharing. 3rd its not optimised for game development, trust me I check it out

I would recommend making a room that looks kinda like the console room but different. Not so different that people wouldn't recognise it as the console room, but also not to get sued for copyright infringement. Maybe one of your own design might be preferable following the main rules of a console room (like 6 sided control panel). Good luck with it non the less

Looking pretty good.Β  I assume you've been spending a lot of time in the Street View of the Console Room that Google Maps photographed?

Thanks, yeah ended up taking screen caps of as as I kept zooming out of it by accident lol. Originally I worked off of screen caps of the Xmas episode which didn't show much but the Google Street view helped loads

As always with your work, this model is incredibly accurate and conveys a great sense of the viewer being sucked into the image - the walls and controls are beautifully accurate, as is the general architecture of the room It really does the 'Doctor Who' set designers' brilliant set justice!
