That's so neat that they can talk! I love it when games feed you bits and pieces of historical information and mythology. Now I want to google who Hotu Matu'a and the Fisher King. Can you give us any lines from these guys, or are you not in charge of that?
How do the potions play into this? Are they related to the wands (like, the spellcaster dual wields the wand and the potion, or has to dip the wand in the potion before he can do the magic)? Or are they a separate item that you forgot to label? It would make sense that they are related, because "mortuum" is latin for "death" (hence the skull and crossbones) and Quicktime has a man running beneath it.
Also, a minor inaccuracy (and I'm sure this is just artistic license), but the ocarina doesn't have the right number of holes.

Haha! Glad you like! These will be much more animated (and drawn MUCH better than what I have here) on the actual card arts. TBH, I hadn't thought of any one-liners to go with these guys, because I was mostly using the lore to influence their designs. They will mostly be screaming and shooting magic out of their mouths or eyes, lol! Could be interesting to see magical text coming out of their mouths though, but I would worry that it might get too silly. Not sure...
Yeah, somehow I must have accidentally turned off the "POTION" text layer. The Tinkers simply throw these potions they created in labs at their enemies, sort of like how Chemists throw potions in FF Tactics.
Doh! I'll probably make it a 7 hole ocarina, then. I was looking at an African ocarina that had only 4, but I think most people judge Ocarinas by Link's, so I will definitely make the change so there is no confusion! Thanks for pointing all of this out!

It sounds interesting. I like that you have a variety of kings from all different mythologies, although I'm a bit surprised there's no pharaoh.

This is true! I don't know much about Egyptology... do they have a mythological king I should know about?

They believed all their kings were part god, so I suppose they're all mythological. Ramses is generally regarded as the most powerful pharaoh of the Egyptian empire, so he'd be a good choice.
