Starting the Crusaders Crew with Babs! She was beautiful to draw. I just love her colour scheme and her hair style, I think that when she'll actually grow up (if the drawers do a good job lol) she'll become a gorgeous mare. Anyway, let's go with head canon :3I think Babs is not that little angel she looks like when she last appears (I don't know... That episode with the song "raise this barn", maybe? Idk) in the show. I like to believe that she's still a stubborn and proud daredevil, with all the risks that this implies. In fact, she got a lot of scars during her brave adventures, mostly on her hind legs. When she visited Ponyville again, at the age of 18, she had the great idea to have a walk in the Everfree Forest with Scootaloo. They were attacked by Timberwolves and she got her back and chest scars, while Scoots was terribly injured and was going to lose her right wing. Speaking of which, Babs had a strong influence on Scootaloo. They were the two fillies all the bad colts wanted (semi-quote lol), but Scoots could get over this phase after some time.
Babs Seed got her cutie mark while she and the rest of the crew was at a painting contest. She didn't win it, but the feelings she had while picturing made her feel free for the first time in her life. She's quite talented, even though it's not the only thing she excels in. She's a great repairer and builder, too.
When she was 18 she decided to leave her home-city because she hated her parents. They had never really cared much about her, so she thought it would have been better if she vanished and not returned. She moved to Appleloosa and was "adopted" by Braeburn, who took the place her father had never wanted to have.

Ok, I just want to say that her cutie mark looks like an ink bottle and a quill. Now, for me, this would be more of the cutie mark of an author. This is just my opinion,
though I really do think a paint brush, a paint palet thingy (no idea what those things are called) or just a splatter of paint would better symbolize an artist's cutie mark. If it isn't a quill and ink bottle please excuse me. I can't really tell exactly what it is. Either way, this is awesome. Keep up the good work!

I personally see it as a brush painting a seed, but you don't have to apologize for seeing it differently ^^" And I should definitely do a remake of the CMC as teenagers-adults, now that you remind me. And thanks for the nice compliments ^^

Great explanation and reasoning behind your headcanon again.
I did feel that Babs was just a confidence boost away from wearing leather jackets and smoking behind the bike sheds.
Her being an influence on the tomboyish Scoots makes sense and adventuring in the Everfree is just the sort of bone-headed thing they might do. ^^
And that cocky smile of hers.

Why thank you o3o I like to play around characters' personalities, and I love to imagine what would happen if something goes down x3 I was going to write the word "tomboy", but then I stopped. Don't know why, but I think it was because of the two tomboys - bad girls I ship most x3

And I agree. Even though there is nothing wrong with good girls, Rarity is my favourite after all... I do ship AppleDash more than any other the two can be matched with for the same reason. ^^

Her hind legs are kind of abnormally long, to the point that her butt is higher then her shoulders. She's also unhealthy thin for an herbivore, who have big guts for digesting plant matter. Other then a few anatomy problems (there are more, these are just the most obvious.), this is very good work. Your style, as well as coloring and shading are very appealing.
