Hi! The winner of this Kiamara has been announced. I just wanted to reply to you to let you know as it's been so long since the contest end date.

While you did not win, I did want to tell you what I liked/appreciated from your form. Firstly, the made of world/society was incredibly fascinating. The fact that they lived without light was unique and I haven't even thought that would be a possibility. I do hope to see more creative forms from you in the future, as it was a joy reading yours!

Personality: 
Nova has a very dark background.  His mother died while giving birth to him, and he was raised by a single father who severely neglected him.  Because of this, he developed schizophrenia to help cope with the abuse.  Growing up, he was outcast among others in school, because he'd be seen talking to himself.  Despite his dark past, he has a fantastic outlook on life.  He takes anti-psychotic medications and sees a therapist to help treat his symptoms, and although he still has schizophrenic breaks, they are few and far between.  He has a great attitude, and occasionally attends seminars where he speaks to other people who live with schizophrenia.  He also uses poetry to help him cope with the not-so-great days, by both reading and writing it.  Aside

Where did their star companions come from/how are they 'alive'?
Gali was just a baby when his mother read him his first bed time story, it was The Little Prince. The small kiamara was amazed by the story that followed this boy and his journey to get to his rose. He started playing to ‘be’ the little prince and tried to imagine and draw his own realities, but naturally, he got turned down since his friends thought magic didn’t exist. Until one day he met this old lady and told her the story he was so enchanted by, before he left, the lady told him to dream about something or someone who’d always believe in the reality he dreamed of. And the cub did, every night until a soft light woke him up only to be surrounded by floating smiling stars. They didn’t talk, not in words at least, but he could know what they were going to think. It was like being with his younger self, and that’s when it hit him, they were his younger self, they were his innocence, reminding him about his control over his dreams and reality. 
What is their relationship with their star companions?
Even though he does not say it as much as he should, he really appreciates the company of his little  star squad. They may be a bit tricky sometimes, they get pesky when they don’t like someone, but it’s been so many years now that they are a part of him.

While you did not win, I did want to leave a compliment with you about what I loved from your form. I really liked how you included the story of The Little Prince into the character you had created. It was very creative and the fact they had started to 'be' the little prince was unique.
