Ever since I got this new monitor years ago I have had problems with colour choices. The flat screen is terrible because it seems darker to me. It could be that I keep it on a slightly dark setting because its too bright and I don't want to get a headache from it.

Most flat screen monitors have different settings for different applications. Try looking for a button on the monitor to change it, at least for the cross stitching.

I think I will survive! I plan on picking up the swatch colour card for DMC soon(wanting it for years now). It will be the best way to pick the colours. But I have to do real work now!! Have fun!!
