★ ☆ Welcome to my page! I'm DawnRedd and I like to call myself a Storyteller rather than an Artist ☆ ★

I'm not a professional digital artist, all of my uploads are purely for fun.
All of my characters are fictional and not based upon real people unless stated otherwise.

★ Requests are on hold ☆
I'm a busy person and my slots are currently full.
I'll make a journal stating when they're open again.

★ Ask me about Art Trades ☆
Again, it depends how busy I am.
I'm more likely to accept an art trade since i'm receiving something in return.
If you're a stranger then I ask that you upload your part first as I have had too many people take my art and disappear without completing their part.

★ Commissions ☆
I do not have commissions open, mainly because since it is paid, it feels like work, and therefore it feels like a chore.
I've already said that I do this for fun, and therefore I prefer working on requests over commissions.
If I do open commissions, the points I earn go towards commissioning others for art of my characters.

★ Please do not beg for points / requests ☆
Begging on dA is extremely childish and if anything it will deter me from giving you anything.
If you'd like points, then consider using dAhub or opening commissions of your own.
Respect that requests are free and take time, therefore wait until I announce that they're open rather than begging / blackmailing me.

★ Don't bring your negativity to my page ☆
This is a positive place. Any form of rude comments that are not useful will be hidden and ignored.
If you are experiencing negative emotions and need somebody to talk to, please note me and i'll be happy to offer my help.

★ If you would like to use my characters.. ☆
Fanart and Gifts are fine, as long as you credit me - I love fanart!
Inclusion of my characters in your story/comic/etc. is fine as long as they appear as a minor character / cameo.
Major roles in a story/comic/etc. is something that i'd like you to confirm with me first, please!

★ Commenting ☆
If your comment has nothing to do with the deviation, then I may hide your comment.
Please do not compare my characters to others, I may hide the comment.
If I do not reply, I may not have seen your message or I was unable to reply due to lack of content.
Feel free to thank me for the llama/favourite/watch, I have no problem with it.

I love making new friends so don't be afraid to message me!
You can introduce yourself, talk about our mutual interests or just jump in and act like we've been best buds for the longest time!
