Hmm... It has a really strange focus... I like the colours and the composing, but the focus is REALLY strange

it's taken with a zoom lens on distance so therefore it's a strange blurfocus indeed x)

Cool stuff, I take it this is you having fun with your new found photography knowledge? I like the colours! The pink is maybe a little too uniform though, I think it would be easier to differentiate the foreground & background with a slight tweak to the lighting...but still, a nice photo nonetheless hahah.

I agree that the pink is quite uniform here and maybe a bit overexposed @ some areas here, even though some of my editings is a transformage into more yellow and orange in the background :] haha . But i didn't wan't it to turn out way to much unnatural either.

No problem, I can understand that. I don't like manufacturing my photographs too much as well, there is such a thing as overdoing it lol! Be cool to see what you come up with in the future.

Oooh, you mean like those proper-spike-less cacti with huge magenta blooms? I used to have one in my room but it died. Even my regular cacti died lol, I neglect my plants! But it's an absolutely beautiful shot, I'm allergic to bright colours related to pink but the dewdrops, the energy, the contrast between the different focuses, well done Daniel! It really takes my breath away and makes me snack hungry (like most of your photos, haha!). Everything looks so alive, it's hard to put it in words.

With very low aperture levels and high focal lengths settled so will many parts of a macro photo turn out on focus.
As for this photo, so is middle droplets only meant to be on the spot for the eyes
300mm + f/7.1 = very very short focus

I'm no expert with this stuff, but if you had a different camera would you prefer to have the middle droplets be a focus but have the petals towards the back be a bit more in focus? Or would you stick with what you have right now?

but yes, i would prefer a tiny bit more focus around, however chances for the droplets to not be noticed arise the chances then if i do
